Calisen Metering wins significant contact with Scottish Power

Under this extension, Calisen will continue to partner with ScottishPower for Metering Services for a further two years. The contract will see Calisen install over 200,000 smart meters in 2024 across the UK.  Additionally, Calisen has agreed a new three-year contract to provide meter reading or “DR” services for ScottishPower nationwide. This will see Calisen carry out almost 3 million meter read visits in 2024 alone. 

 

These two contract wins represent a significant milestone for Calisen Metering. The contracts are an endorsement of the previous work and high quality of service provided by the company for ScottishPower, particularly in the installation of smart meters across the east Midlands, eastern, southwest, south, southeast and London regions. 

 

To support these new contracts, Calisen Metering will be growing its field team, to meet the demands of the ScottishPower customer base.

 

 
These new wins are strategically important, giving Calisen Metering a great footprint to support other existing contracts and customers, as well as maintaining its position as a major player in the roll-out of smart meters in Great Britain.  Calisen Metering, through providing energy suppliers with comprehensive end-to-end metering services, including the maintenance of smart meter health through SMART 360 services, continues to be a key enabler in the digital energy landscape’s move towards a cleaner future.
